The Under-Appreciated Rock Band of the Month for February 2013 is LINK PROTRUDI AND THE JAY MEN, a fiery rock instrumental trio that grew of the psychedelic revival band, the Fuzztones. Don’t worry, there’s no long dissertation this month, but mostly just an appreciation of the inspiration for this band, Link Wray and His Ray Men, whose 1958 instrumental “Rumble” revolutionized rock and roll.
