It has been pretty tough on the Mississippi Gulf Coast during the Recession, but one good thing is that we have been getting a lot of great new restaurants! If you don’t already know, let me introduce you to SOPHI’S MEDITERRANEAN CAFE AND STORE on Pass Road near Eisenhower Drive. I have eaten there a half dozen times already, and it is always good. They have the best falafels on the Coast, and the best baba ganoush I have had, period!
