One good thing though: Word is out like never before that child sexual abuse is not limited to Catholic priests. There have been three or four cases of child sexual abuse by a member of the clergy since I have been living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (just 13+ years) – and not one of them has been Catholic. That doesn’t make it any less sad wherever it happens.
