Musical highlights include the Shamrocks’ R&B single, “Midnight Train” and a French cover of John Mayall’s “I’m Your Witchdoctor” (“Curieux Docteur”).

Pebbles, Volume 11 is arguably the rarest piece of the Pebbles collection. Soon after release, the album was pulled from the market due to legal disputes.

The opening track, “I’m a Leather Boy” by the mysterious Milan, as the Leather Boy was on the Pebbles, Volume 11 LP; “On the Go” was not on that LP.

“(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone” by W. C. Fields Memorial Electric String Band is the first known version. Kenny Loggins was in the Second Helping.

“I Never Loved Her” by the Starfires is one of the most valuable garage rock singles. “Won’t Get Far” by the Hysterics is included on Pebbles, Volume 9 CD.

The Ides of March had a hit song with “Vehicle”. The Cryan Shames had a hit with “Sugar and Spice”; this cut is the flip side.

Musical highlights included the opening track, “Searching”, by the Omens, which was later covered by the Pandoras and Gravedigger V.

Relatively prominent bands on Pebbles, Volume 4 include New Colony Six, the Vejtables, the Clefs of Lavender Hill, and the Choir.

Pebbles, Volume 3 offers many songs that are familiar to previous Pebbles fans – “Rich with Nothin'”, “Primitive”, “I’m a Man”, “Green Fuz”, “I’m a Leather Boy”.
