- The album starts with “Subterranean Homesick Blues”; you might have seen Bob flipping through sheets of paper. That is one of the very first rock videos.

I just put on one of my very favorite Bob Dylan albums, Bringing it All Back Home. It came out right before Highway 61 Revisited, which had “Like a Rolling Stone” on it; however, this album does have the flip side, “Gates of Eden”, which is almost as long and almost as good. The album starts with “Subterranean Homesick Blues”; you might have seen Bob flipping through sheets of paper with lyric bits on them as it plays. I count that as one of the very first rock videos. I have to work today, but having great music like this going while I do sure makes it nicer! 🙂

Oh, that Dylan can write! On “Bob Dylan’s 115th Dream” (the one with the hilarious false start), he has two of his best lines:
“The man asked me for some collateral, and I pulled down my pants.”
“I said, ‘You know, they refused Jesus, too’; and he said, ‘You ain’t him.'”
LMAO! 🙂

“The motorcycle black Madonna two wheel gypsy queen” – it was along about here when I first played “Gates of Eden” (the flip side of “Like a Rolling Stone”) that I realized I would be a Bob Dylan fan for life.
