Blue Mink – Blue Mink (1973): Though virtually unknown on these shores, Blue Mink was one of the top British pop groups in the 1970’s and features Madeline Bell as lead singer who is backed by a stellar band of recording studio heavyweights like bass guitarist Herbie Flowers, and Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway, who had previously recorded as a duo called David and Jonathan and had a hit single with the Beatles song “Michelle” in early 1966. All three perform songwriting duties on most of these tracks.
